This piece was based on the use of text - making a simple vessel, using techniques taught by Val Campbell-Harding on the Machine Embroidery course. The vessel (left) is 5 sided and covered with the word Babcia (Polish for Grandmother) and featured in an article on Workshop on the Web. |

Lumiere This piece is based on iron work in Cheltenham and is made of machine embroidered garden wire surrounding a machine embroidered aluminium can. This central can holds a large candle. |
